SDCCS2 Counseling Department
SDCCS2 Mountain View Counseling DepARTMENT
Counseling services at Mountain View are preventative by design. They include creative, highly differentiated interventions that are based on individual student need and reflective of the Co-Op Schools’ commitment to progressive education. Service offerings are designed to provide students with the skills and tools they need to successfully navigate their daily experiences (social, emotional and academic). The SDCCS2 counselor utilizes positive, strengths-based approach, and works collaboratively with teachers, students and parents to provide services which strengthen the home-school connection.
about THE COUNSELOR:
I hold a Master of Science in School Counseling and a California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Counseling. The 2019-2020 school year will be my seventh with the Co-Op schools.
I am a Colorado native with a lifelong love of the cold & snow. Outside of school, I love playing and planning adventures with my family. Together we love to travel, ski, hike, play board games, read books, play with our animals, have sock wars, swim (in rivers and pools especially) & ride bicycles.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with your children!
